    The Branch Manager will be the leader of our Arizona region that is exploding with demand. This role will involve all aspects of running a service organization and the branch manager will be responsible for the branch's profitability.

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

    • Successful candidate will have 7+ years experience in the crane service industry with either management and/or engineering experience
    • Must have excellent oral and written communication skills to communicate with customers, sales personnel, engineers, and production management
    • Must be organized and self-motivated

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Proactively engage the customers, sales personnel, projects team, and technicians in order to properly schedule and execute all field service and project activities in the Arizona region.
    • Hire and develop service technicians
    • Coordinate, communicate and dispatch service technicians to customer locations throughout the region.
    • Proactively schedule repetitive and routine inspection and preventative maintenance visits with customers and technicians.
    • Maintain a schedule for all technicians.
    • Document and review service technician performance on an annual basis and recommend raises and corrective action as needed.
    • Communicate complex technical issues with customers throughout the course of service projects. Attend pre-bid site meetings and walk throughs as needed.
    • Receive incoming requests from customers, sales reps, technicians and management related to field service and inspection requirements.
    • Work with suppliers to order and expedite materials, and assist in staging materials in preparation of upcoming projects.
    • Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues over the phone with service technicians at customer sites. Escalate complex situations to management as necessary.
    • Maintain Phoenix and Tucson facilities and related inventory

    COMPENSATION

    • Annual salary plus bonus potential. Company vehicle provided. Attractive benefit options, including medical, vision, dental, 401(k) with match, vacation and personal time.

    PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Weld and fabricate steel girders for building overhead cranes in compliance with AWS standards.
    • Maintain a professional, safe and productive work environment.
    • Paint structural girders after completing fabrication.
    • Help with building of crane equipment as needed.
    • Maintain shop equipment and keep shop clean and organized
    • Evaluate and make recommendations to increase productivity.
    • Communicate consistently with other employees and supervisor.
    • Willingness to perform/learn multiple skills.
    • Ability to work well with others in a shop environment. Team player. Positive attitude.
    • Handle materials using forklift
    • Overtime and occasional out-of-state travel for training purposes

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Welding: 2 years (Required)
    • High school or equivalent (Preferred)
    • Proven MIG welding skills with certification is required.
    • Minimum two to three years’ work experience with structural steel fabrication and mechanical repair
    • Fork truck and overhead crane operator certifications preferred
    • Mechanical and machining skills are preferred.
    • Ability to read prints, layout, and fabricate according to specifications.
    • Ability to work in a shop environment using overhead cranes, and various shop tools consistent with steel fabrication (shear, saws, punches, drill press, cutting torches, etc.)
    • Industrial electrical experience preferred
    • Must be insurable to drive company equipment
    • Must have strong understanding of safety best practices and applicable codes/regulations

    WORK ENVIRONMENT CONSIDERATIONS

    • Work in shop environments under various working conditions depending on assignment.
    • Overtime and weekend work occasionally required.
    • Some heavy lifting with the ability to lift up to 50lbs.
